# Link Hover

How the accent fill behaves on navigation links.

Two options for what happens when you hover a navigation link.

* **Standard** — the accent box appears at once.
* **Slide** — the accent fills in from the left.

Applies to header navigation, footer links, the category list, and the Enter Page menu.

The padding is present at rest as well as on hover, so the box appears without shifting anything around it. Both options hug the word rather than sitting in a taller box — a fill that's noticeably bigger than the text reads as a button, which these aren't.
