Common issues and fixes.

My product images have white boxes around them.

SPLY expects transparent cutout PNGs (background removed). Re-export your product images with a transparent background so they float on the seed colour.

The store loads in dark mode even though I set light.

Returning visitors keep their last chosen mode. To lock the store to one mode, turn off Show light/dark toggle in header under Theme settings → Mode.

The grid looks sparse.

Lower Grid columns under Theme settings → Layout, or raise Products to show on the Product Collection section (default 52).

The enter modal isn't showing.

It's disabled by default and shows once per browsing session on the homepage only. Enable it on the homepage and clear your session (new private window) to see it again.

Express checkout buttons aren't appearing in the cart.

They only render when you have accelerated payments (Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay) enabled in Settings → Payments.
