# Password & Drop Gate

Pre-launch password page and drop gate.

SPLY ships a stark password / drop gate for pre-launch stores. It carries your logo, a heading and subtext, an optional email capture, and the standard password entry.

## How to access

#### Logo

Your logo comes from **Theme settings → Logo** (light and dark versions), shared with the header. Set the images there once.

## Launch countdown block

Add a **Launch countdown** block to count down to your drop. Set the date, time and timezone, choose whether to show milliseconds and unit labels, and set the live message shown when the timer hits zero.

### Store password

Must match Settings → Online Store → Preferences. Powers the 'Enter site' button.

> **Tip:** Enter your store password in the countdown block to reveal an **Enter site** button when the timer ends. It unlocks the store automatically for waiting customers.

## Collecting email and SMS (Klaviyo)

By default the **Get early access** toggle reveals a built-in email field. To collect **email and SMS**, paste your Klaviyo form embed into the **Email / SMS form embed (Klaviyo)** setting under **Email capture**. When it is set, it replaces the built-in field inside that panel. Turn on **Show loading spinner for the embed** so a spinner shows until the Klaviyo form finishes loading.

## Custom Liquid block

Drop any HTML or Liquid onto the gate. Most often a **Klaviyo form embed** for an email or SMS signup, but it works for any widget or analytics snippet. Turn on **Show a loading spinner until it appears** so a spinner holds the space until the embed loads (Klaviyo and similar forms render a moment after the page).

> **Important:** The store password itself is set in **Online Store → Preferences → Password protection**. The gate above is what visitors see while protection is on.
