# Search

Search as you type, and results as a folder you can filter.

The desktop's Search icon, and **Search** in the Start menu, open a small search window.

## As you type

Results appear under the box while the shopper types — products, collections, pages and blog posts, each as a file they can open. **See all results** at the bottom runs the full search.

## The results

A full search opens as a folder, exactly like a [collection](/exp98-shopify-theme/exp98/sections-and-features/collection.md): Icons, List and Details views, the filter bar, **Arrange icons by**, and Load more. Matching pages and blog posts sit among the products as documents.

It's the **Search** section on the search template. Filters are the same ones you set for collections in the **Search & Discovery app**.
