Lookbook

A collection's photos played as a slideshow in a Media Player window.

LOOKBOOK.EXE plays a collection's product photos as a slideshow in a Media Player window: a black picture pane, a blue progress bar under it filling up as the picture's time runs out, the product's name and price, a seek bar that walks through the pictures, and Previous, Play/Pause and Next keys. A tap on the picture opens that product.

Good for a drop, a season, or a collection you want people to flick through without opening anything.

Adding it

In the Desktop section, Add block → Lookbook icon. On a computer it sits at the top of the bottom-right huddle, to the right of the Photo Booth; on a phone or tablet it's in the bottom-right corner under the Photo Booth, above Games. Add one for every collection you want to show.

What shoppers can do

  • Play / Pause, Previous and Next, or drag the seek bar to any picture. The ← and → keys work while the window is in front.

  • Pressing Next (or dragging) doesn't get undercut: the next automatic change comes a full interval later.

  • The show pauses when the window closes or the tab goes to the background, and picks up where it was.

  • A tap on the picture opens the product.

Products without a photo are skipped. With no collection picked, the window says so.
