Going Live

What to check before you publish EXP-98.

Check these first

On a real phone, not just the editor preview. On a phone the desktop becomes a grid of icons and windows stack full width. The editor's mobile view is close, but not the same.

The games' discount code. Win a game once and try the code at checkout. If it is rejected, the code in the game doesn't exist under Discounts — see First-Time Setup.

The cart goal. Put enough in your cart to reach it, then check the shipping at checkout matches what the bar promised.

The music. Play every track. A track that won't play shows Cannot read this disc in the player's status bar — its URL is wrong or the file isn't an MP3.

Your sharing picture. Paste your store URL into iMessage or Slack and see what comes back. The picture is your social sharing image from Online Store → Preferences — see Search & Sharing.

The enter gate, if you turned it on. Once per visit is the kind setting; every page load gets in the way of someone browsing. See Enter Gate.

Publishing

Online Store → Themes → find EXP-98 in your library → Actions → Publish.

If your store is still password-protected

Turn password protection off under Online Store → Preferences. That is the only thing that opens the store.

A game on the password page can reveal your password to whoever wins it, but that only lets that visitor in — the store stays locked until you turn protection off. See Password Page.

The credit line

The password page carries a small Powered by WEBEXP line at the foot. It only appears while your store is closed — customers never see it once your store is open.

Want it removed? Leave a review on the EXP-98 listing and send a screenshot to our Instagram or email — we'll take care of it.
